Re: Haro Series 1B Retro Plates

Just to put some minds at rest, each plate has our Genuine Vintage Series stamp in the mold. They all have this on the back. No mistaking this as a replica. Also guys a mold like this costs $10,000us to make. $49.99us is pretty decent considering how many we will have to sell to pay for the mold.

At the price Haro plates go for I'm sure they'll sell like crazy. A lot of bare vintage handlebars out there

Re: Haro Series 1B Retro Plates

Is the blue really a baby blue color on all of them like the pic? I'd want one, but only if the blue was royal blue. Baby blue would not match my bike.

I believe so. I believe that is the point, that it's different. I could be wrong, but that's what I was told.

That's if the plastic, packaging, labor, velcro and paint are all free, and Haro makes 100% of that $49.99 and none goes to the store that sold it.

Their way of saying it isn't about the money, even when it clearly is.

Re: Haro Series 1B Retro Plates

Why wouldn't it be about the money?  That is what companies do.

Like it or don't, buy it or don't.

I won't but only because they won't make a scaled down cruiser sized version.

Re: Haro Series 1B Retro Plates

It's about making a cool product that people will want to buy, and about adding to the overall profit of the company. That is how a company pays their employees, and ensures that they will be around tomorrow to work another day...

Wait, companies are trying to make money? And by creating things people want? That's terrible.
