2014 S&M Intrikat

My best flatland bike ever.

Built my first new school flatland bike in late 2013 which replaced my old school flat bike that I had ridden throughout the 80s and 90s.  Rode that for a year and identified a few changes I wanted to make, which resulted in this bike.  It is by far my most comfortable and solid flatland bike I've ever had.  This is the 20.5"TT (XL) frame.
2017 Updates!  This bike was out of commission for a while until I bought a new wheelset for it and made a few more upgrades as well.  Great to be riding it again!

S&M just discontinued the Intrikat frame, at least for now.  Frame specs previously were available from S&M though that link is no longer valid.  I pulled the following frame specs from flatlandfuel.
TOP TUBE  19", 19.5", 20", 20.5"
REAR END  13"  (range is 12.75" - 13.50")
HT ANGLE  75°
HEAD TUBE  Integrated (45°/45°, 41.8mm)
SEAT ANGLE  71°
SEAT CLAMP  Integrated
SEAT POST  1" (25.4mm)
BB HEIGHT  11.8"
BB STYLE  Mid
STANDOVER  7.75"  (This may actually be 8.15"?  Found conflicting info...)
BRAKE MOUNTS  Thread-On 990 Mounts (sold separately)
DROPOUTS  14mm Slot, 4Q-Baked
GYRO TABS  Removable (sold separately)

WEIGHT  4.28 lb
TUBESET  Butted True Temper SuperTherm Tubing
Oh!  Found via the wayback machine!
It’s been 10 years deep since the Sabbath Frame… one of the most infamous flatland frames that introduced the game to some American quality. The Intrikat is the birth child of that beast, keeping the design and style the same. We had our two flatlanders Chad Johnston and Sean Mckinney butt heads to make this everything but a pretzel.TOP TUBE19", 19.5", 20", 20.5"REAR END12.75"HT ANGLE75°HEAD TUBEIntegrated (45°/45°, 41.8mm)SEAT ANGLE71°SEAT CLAMPInvestment CastSEAT POST1" (25.4mm)BB HEIGHT11.8"BB STYLEMid w/EZ-out punch slotsSTANDOVER8.15"BRAKE MOUNTSThread-On 990 (Mounts sold separately)DROPOUTS14mm Slot, 4Q-Baked, Integrated Chain TensionersGYRO TABSRemovableWEIGHT4.28 lbTUBESETButted True Temper SuperTherm TubingFork specs:

That is one clean ride man! Tight! What do you thing of those Autum Escobars? I'm thinking of getting a pair for my flatlander.

You take your car to work, I'll take my board.
And when you're out of fuel, I'm still afloat.

Thanks!  I just saw yours too, and was going to comment on the escobars on yours as well.  Great bars - best I've ever used.  Love riding this bike!  smile

Re: 2014 S&M Intrikat

I love this. I’m going to build an intrikat and base it off this.

Pants first, then shoes.
