1985 GT Pro Performer

1985 GT Pro Performer with '85 stamped forks. Vert headtube angle.

G5 Serial Pro Performer. I set this bike up reminiscent of the Southern California vert bikes I loved so much. This one has the relaxed head tube angle made for vert, so it seemed like the natural way to set it up. I wanted a bike that had the look of the bikes flying out of the bowl at Upland, in the mid-80's, flashy enough to be on the cover of BMX Plus!
1985 GT Pro Performer. Decals eventually, probably. I took mine off my '86 BITD, and I still like the look of no decals
Dyno Pretzel bars.
Skyway wheels
Lucky Stone tires
Early GT DX style pedals, reversed.
'85 stamped GT mallet.
Tioga braced layback post
Odyssey brake. Rear only for now.

Common sense is so rare these days, it should be classified as a super power.

Thanks! I love this build. I haven't ridden it much, the seat mast still needs attention (especially considering I'm a little heavier than I was BITD), but riding it takes me right back to the one I bought new.
