ANTDOG!  I don't blame you.  I don't ride old school BMX bikes, you know why, they're too expensive!  HA!

I have my original bike and parts that I rode BITD, but there's no WAY I would risk riding on old school bikes as an adult.  They're too dainty!  HA!

Re: Roll Call...The OLD collectors still at it?

Their are plenty of old members and collectors that I no longer see on here. Such as
harotom
caezar
Tonecapone
skinnygmg
phillyphill17
martimagico
maximum85
jrny
duziduzit25
neil-son
sport
2dr_sedan
cul8er
floofy
erichevy
shifty72
Boston
mitter
bboygraphix
I know I missed quite a few. I know members move onto different hobbies, priorities change or just plain got burnt out with collecting but if your lurking chime in. Would love to hear what you have been  up to.

Floofy is DemonGT's wife and she has a beautiful family and working hard.  She still has her GT's 10 of them or more.

I do plan on rebuilding the amtrac and doing a few races with it. But I love the feel of my Standard

Re: Roll Call...The OLD collectors still at it?

The one old school member that impressed me the most was 07CARRERA. Sent me a free set of tires (including shipping) for one of my bikes just because it would look better with skin wall tires. I wasn't the only one he sent stuff to. He helped out lots of people here.   cool

He has been on the ballot for a few years now. I'm still pissed that they put Curtis Martin in before the Bus the first year they were both eligible.

I kinda got out of it about 7 or 8 years ago. Prices skyrocketed and my paycheck got smaller. I also had a lot of "life" going on, and the hobby was the last thing I thought of. I sold off most of my collection, stashed away a few sentimental pieces, and called it quits. Over the years I picked up a few things when they fell into my lap, and either flipped or kept them. I've never stopped "lurking". Kinda sad to see V so unvisited. But I guess this is the place to be now. This year I decided to start a few projects and acquire a few bikes that I either sold off or wanted back in the day. So here I am again!

But you`re a brand new member? What was your old username?

Still searching for my missing bikes from BITD. 1979 Blue Max serial: CI9 221346 and 1977 Webco serial: 42667. Both were last seen at Spoke and Sport Bicycles in Spokane, WA around 1984. $600 reward if found!!

I remember when you did that. I think you sold me a Huffy Sigma when you were selling off some stuff.
Seems like you had a small fortune in bringing that to life. I would likes to have seen it in person

The last time I had contact with Jayoldman, he was starting his own BMX collecting website.  This must have been about three years ago, and have no idea what became of him or the website.  I spoke to Neil-Son on the phone a few times and Martin Magico once and did business with both of them, but don't know what happened to either of them.  Met Boston and bought some stuff from him a few years ago, but neither hide nor hair since.

Re: Roll Call...The OLD collectors still at it?

I talk to Chromey still, we've kept in touch.  He's busy with his bands, girlfriend, work, and life.  He just moved as well.  He's sold off some, but is still in it as much as time allows I think.

i also virtually see Radbandit quite a bit.  He's got 2 boys, and looks happy as hell.  Not sure if he still "collects", but he's always riding old school bikes with friends.

Dookie!!  What's up dude??  Been a long time!
