Roll Call...The OLD collectors still at it?

I'm going to miss more than a few names, but where are they now.....OS_Bob_O, C4Labs, PEP, Dansharos, Brian P, RL Paulie, Twintoptuber, Chromey, Raul, DonVader88, Mikkopeters, Guav, Keep it Warm, Tim, WDS, 2Fresh, RL20IIGuy, Jainbaby, Bedlam Bikes, AMDMonster, C3Enthusiast, BMXMom, Elvis, Teamtotal, PWH4130, Tnight, JessieJames, RadDad67, Illmatic, Radlad, 1NiceHaro, Jay Huber, Tnight, The26Incher,.....etc.

I'll admit some of these guys are still around and on here and I talk to them every once an awhile....but it's funny because this place (BMXMuseum) didn't REALLy take off until the fall of VintageBMX sometime in 2007/08.

Some of the old guys....chime in......where are you????

BTW - I know where Bob, Chip, Chris, Dan, Paul, Mike, Mike, Justin, & Tom are because I still see them post stuff here and there...but the REST of you...CHIME IN!!!  What's new!!!

Man those names are a blast from the past...wow. I think quite a few are out or at least on extended hiatus. Sad to say I see most on ebay  offing goods....

Old? Sounds kinda harsh. How about early, or original, or anything else but old. Haha

Re: Roll Call...The OLD collectors still at it?

Tone and Jeff V ....wow, I apologize...how could I forget you two?  (I'm sure there are more that are on here)

It's tough when there are two different names on the each site - although you two have the same names as before.

It's funny because "old timers" here are members since 2008!

Re: Roll Call...The OLD collectors still at it?

I know I'm missing a lot of names.  I just grabbed the ones that I knew personally way back when.

I remember those names as well.  In fact (Ray) Flanelcamel schooled me on the differences between VDC, Hutch, and Diamond Back Woody Itson bars! (back in 2005)

Re: Roll Call...The OLD collectors still at it?

The "old" names list is endless. So many came and went over the years. But, its nice to see a few still enjoying the hobby that "we" created almost 20 years ago...

I kinda got out of it about 7 or 8 years ago. Prices skyrocketed and my paycheck got smaller. I also had a lot of "life" going on, and the hobby was the last thing I thought of. I sold off most of my collection, stashed away a few sentimental pieces, and called it quits. Over the years I picked up a few things when they fell into my lap, and either flipped or kept them. I've never stopped "lurking". Kinda sad to see V so unvisited. But I guess this is the place to be now. This year I decided to start a few projects and acquire a few bikes that I either sold off or wanted back in the day. So here I am again!
