When I scroll through a tread like this, in my mind I can always hear people say "all new school bikes look alike." And every single photo I see in this thread makes me want to answer "yeah, they all look F'ing badass!"

Well done guys this thread is stacked with great rides!

There's more style and variety than ever that serves a FUNCTION. No gimmicks. Whenever I come across a new school diss by a hardcore old school cork sniffer (all OS peeps are not cork sniffers) I'm perplexed. Like, they would rather have what was available 35 years ago versus what's available today? Cracker please!

If someone gave me the option of a $500 full chromo complete from today in trade, dollar for dollar, vs what I was riding when I was a kid, It would be a no brainier. Give me the new $hit.

It's all good though. Just being realistic.

Re: The Official Mutiny Bikes Thread

Agreed.

Bike in post #1 is the one that got away for me. Can't believe I sold 2, twice, & let them go. I need to find another 21 raw clear NOS. Anyone know of a retailernwith leftover conjurer v3s?

Re: The Official Mutiny Bikes Thread

If they all look the same then, that's mostly because they've nearly struck the perfect balance of light weight, strength and purpose built geometry.  You can still personalize a new school rig. big_smile

The old schoolers that stopped riding don't understand. Those that are still putting in work know what works.

Re: The Official Mutiny Bikes Thread

yikes I think my friend is going to trade me a flawless Mutiny Animist this week. yikes
It'll be a wall hanger next to a 2015 barcode until I get this knee under ctrl. PT sucks. The struggle is real. hmm

EDIT:
GOT IT!
I'll update with images asap. Some old word candy for the mean time.

"That's Hanson Little's new signature frame, which should be available in Spring 2010. It's a real back to basics frame, with 3/8" dropouts and much more race-inspired geometry. Hanson likes to go fast and jump stuff, but he wanted something that was a nod to where he came from as opposed to the more modern faster-feeling frames. So we went back to basics, and basically, it's a beefy race bike. Also, the artwork is part of the paint work. It's not a decal. Hanson worked closely with Aron Hoag, our graphic designer, and the name "The Animist" is interesting too. I had no idea what it was until Hanson brought it to my attention. It incorporates his take on life, which is pretty interesting. He really did have 120% input on this frame, and that's why it's taken so long to come out. Hanson wanted everything dialed." -Gaz Sanders, Mutiny (Photo by: Sandy Carson)

Mutiny Loosefer Reissue Frame, Mutiny Wands V3 Fork & Mutiny Comb Bars.

Featuring damn near every part Merritt make (I have a Sprocket buy I'm waiting on the Begin Guard Sprocket) a few Odyssey, a few Eclat & a few Fly Bikes parts to finish everything off. I can do a full parts list if anyone I interested? Enjoy!

Re: The Official Mutiny Bikes Thread

If no one here can help you drop Gaz an email, He should have batch numbers. Do you know what Frame you have & just want extra details or need help with identification? I'm sure we could help with the later.

In personal news, sending my Loosefer Reissue off for repair/modification. Turns out the Seat Post I had in it was faulty alloy & extremely soft, the post got VERY stuck, broke when we tried to remove it & is so soft it ate a screwdriver when I tried to knock it down into the Seat Tube, which took a while to get out of the post!! neutral Well it's going to have an Integrated Pivotal Post fitted, very much looking forward to That!

Re: The Official Mutiny Bikes Thread

Wow, this thread disappeared pretty quickly again!  With that said!
I've had a bad few years with my personal health. Things haven't been easy, ended up in a wheelchair, I was told I was going to die at one point if we didn't get a few things sorted out FAST. Well, I'm still here & I've been making changes in my life, working hard to get back to where I want to be! I got told last week my rotator cuff is dead & the only thing that can really be done is targeted physio. Guess that'll have to do because I built this beast yesterday!https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/220661/20200204_0137585e396f42ab.jpg

Re: The Official Mutiny Bikes Thread

Well it appears I'm going to be posting again! But it's a little update to the bike above! It's pretty much finished for now. My first baby will be with us end of july/very beginning of August so bike parts are on hold Haha.

There's something different about these photos. They're outside!! Absolutely MASSIVE moment in my recovery today. I rode my bike for the first time in THREE YEARS! I have a video on my Instagram Account The_Pirate_Duck
With that said, the bike rides INCREDIBLY & 36/10 Gearing feels so awesome, can't wait to get going SUPER Fahttps://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/220661/20200507_1607045eb4aea9de.jpg

Re: The Official Mutiny Bikes Thread

Good to know my dude!

Gaz has been a brilliant friend during my recovery. I've been inspired by guys like Aitken, Robbo & Scotty Cranmer. But there's a few people that have been keeping my spirits up, keeping me focused, convincing me I would ride again & today it happened. There really are no words big_smile I didn't cry though lol! Beaming though, grinning ear to ear Haha.
