BMX Products in Chatsworth, CA produced this bike for Mr. Renny Roker and his BMX company Jag. The company Jag was developed to support young men with a positive community activity.

BMX Products early 78/79 frame with no serial number.
BMX Products Motomag II 20 inch (Gold) with reflectors and black knobby tires.
Bendix 76 coaster brake hub with Shimano free wheel (Rear) and loose ball bearing hub (front)
Ashtabula Forks (Stamped 79) with mongoose stamped chrome head set. Ashtabula one piece crank (Stamped 79) with Mongoose stamped BB, Mongoose "snow flake" chain gear & Union pedals Mongoose chain guard with all original brackets.  Ashtabula Stem (Stamped 79) with Mongoose cro-mo bars and mongoose repop grips.Cro-mo seat post & seat clamp, Mongoose stamped rear reflector, Quilted seat with steel guts.

I've just picked up a Jag, serial no. suggests Aug 1980.  Mine too has stamped Ashtabula forks and crank, but everything points to them not being stamped originally.  Any thoughts why some stamped, some not?

Also, mine's chrome (frame and forks) ... ?
