1984 Mongoose Californian

NOT a Cru Jones build!

One of the most econ-qual racers ever made!
I took the liberty of upgrading a few parts like the bars to the larger size from the following year, grips, seat, seat post, clamp, chain, pedals (the 468's really did roll under your feet!), brakes (also added on later models), and changed the cranks to the cromo-lites so I could thrash it without worry.
This is a great rider for cruising, sprinting across town, or goofin' at the track. It does feel a bit short for my 6 foot tall self, but it handles excellent and is very responsive and predictable. One of my favorite bikes to ride.
