Re: Melton's Cycle Shop - New Builds - New Items

Wait until you see the Camo bike Lenny is painting up for one of my students......

I have mad respect for Lenny because he rides what we/I buy. I trust his recommendations. And, in an online shopping world, he has been able to bridge the gap between the old school way of 'going to the store to shop (with the hope of receiving superior customer service of dealing with the owner/operator) and buying off of a faceless/service-less catalog website. Melton's has definitely carved out a great niche and model for, what I feel, is the recipe for success for any small business owner looking to be successful. But what the heck do I know. lol

Keep keeping it real Lenny!

Lenny, I keep reading that you're waiting on the S&M Mainline tires to complete your 22s but the pictures look just as dirt oriented as the Innova's and S&M describes it as their trail tire so, well, what's the excitement all about??????

That's just it, the Mainline is the only one they show as being available in 22".  The Speedball is 20" only and the Trackmark is 20" and 24".  At least that's what their website shows.  Not trying to be a smart ass, you're not the only one who's mentioned the Mainline as a better park tire but what I see on their website doesn't seem to agree.

On the dealer site it has 3 options.  I will look again but has 2 different Street/park sizes and a dirt tire.
