1987 General Osborn Pro
1987 General Osborn Pro
One of my favorites
Back in the 80's, I had always wanted a white and chrome one and wanted to build one like R.L. had. In '89, I got a bash guard Haro Master frame instead since it was on sale for $89 and the 87 and 88 Osborn Pro's were like $150 still. Still have my Master but finally got this Osborn Pro. It's put together like I would have back then...GT Mallet, Haro kneesavers, laidback post, AME grips, Tech 77's, and GT cranks and pedals with a Odyssey disc. Found this generic chrome fork online for cheap and looks like a Spinner fork but is made by Cheng Shen. Still have to put a chain on it so I can ride this baby. Hope you enjoy.

Re: 1987 General Osborn Pro
I put a chain on it and rode it Sunday. Love it! Rides like a Haro Sport mostly cause the top tube is about the same length. 19.5 from center to center. Long for os freestyle frames. Since designed by R.L. it had to be roomie like the RL20ii.

Re: 1987 General Osborn Pro
yep, i agree the frame was well thought out and it rides as good as i had thought it would. i am very impressed with it. i have a trickstar, a couple masters and sports and several gt's and this one has my favorite geometry so far.

thank you! I was lucky enough to buy this frame cheaper than normal since the rear frame standers were cut off. the ones that still have the frame stands untouched pull double what i paid for mine. the forks were new off the bay for cheap and look like the go with the bike. the 88's are sweet too because its the same frame but i like the decals a tad better so ive got a 88 on my bucket list to add to my collection....lol
