1987 GT Performer
1987 GT Performer
My sons bike, 100% done his way!!!
This is my sons '87 Performer. When he was 8 years old he said "Dad… I wan't a GT Performer like you have". I told him we would do it however he wanted to and this is what he came up with. He picked out EVERY part by looking at my bike and flipping through my old school BMX/Freestyle mags. I'll never forget the day he saw Dyno pretzel bars and a Drainpipe seat post in a magazine. He said "Dad, I gotta have those handlebars". He thought they were the coolest thing. He even made me order "custom" colored decals from Ultrahive as he thought the factory light pink on the decals was too girly…LOL. Anyway Here are some pics of his ride and a couple pics with his buddies Eddie and Martin.

Yah, we got to the show and realized we forgot the bike stands. My Dad had the speaker stands in his truck… instant bike stand!!!

Re: 1987 GT Performer
Another well done Performer. The Dyno Pretzel Bars and drain pipe look sweet on this black and white build. I wish I could meet Martin Or Eddie! Very Cool!
