Sharpie work on a frame

I have a frame that I wanted done differently. I gave it to a buddy's daughter to have some fun with. I just got some spy shots from Andy and I am completely blown away.

Her direction was to do what she felt. Completely up to her.

It's a Dkoi race farm. You can see how she incorporated it in the design.

Re: Sharpie work on a frame

Test your clear over sharpie ink before you actually spray the frame.  Sharpie does weird stuff when some solvents hit it.

Re: Sharpie work on a frame

Very cool. Use a good clear that is strong and don't yellow.

Re: Sharpie work on a frame

You should have her do some test strokes on something other than the frame to test the clear on. You'll have to risk a decent part of the frame to get a true idea of how the clear is going to lay down and what it's going to do to the sharpie work (most likely, it'll bleed like crazy) Just a thought.

I like to wear sneakers on my hands because it's much better when you crash - and if you're wearing sneakers on your hands, you're gonna crash.
