1979 MCS Magnum

***SOLD***   classic racer 79 MCS magum

Clean old MCS with some cool components, just picked this up from the original owners uncle. been up in the rafters for over 25 years and you could tell, from the amount of dust. Told me his nephew raced it locally for a few years, the recently moved to bangkok. Nice tuf neck stem, early Robinson bars-unknerled and uncut, kashimax seat, dcmx 2piece clamp, Shimano DuraAce crank assem. with MKS jaws pedals. Nice diacompe gold caliper, even the mitsuboshi comp II big and littles still air up. Really wonder what happened to the wheels. Found with rusty steel wheels and brake lever, otherwise cleaned up real nice. Almost a shame but im going to have to let it go. gotta fund another project and make a little room

Re: 1979 MCS Magnum

I used to race a lot as a teenager and for whatever reason I could always go faster on an MCS Magnum and won more trophies on my Magnum than any other bike and I raced many other bikes. It must have fit me perfectly. Nice ride you have there.

Re: 1979 MCS Magnum

I would be interested in the tires if you decide to part it out. Let me know.
