Re: Peregrine Owners Appreciation Thread - Show Your Stuff!!!

Have a question for those who might know?  I own many peregrine bars and other parts that are welded,  I notice the most welds are very sloppy or a bar not straight or slightly off.  Any idea why or what happen to their quality control department?

Re: Peregrine Owners Appreciation Thread - Show Your Stuff!!!

Maybe it's as simple as they didn't have a good or big enough quality control department. Maybe those "flaws" are what give it the human touch. Unknown.

Re: Peregrine Owners Appreciation Thread - Show Your Stuff!!!

twotonezed - do you know if Peregrine made one piece cranks? I am not a one piece crank kind of guy, but that RX1 would not have come with three piece cranks. I do not recall seeing any in the past, but that doesn't mean anything. Maybe I should be looking for Anlun cranks???

Re: Peregrine Owners Appreciation Thread - Show Your Stuff!!!

G33K,
As far as Peregrine OPC I have never seen a set. What I do know is that my original B1 came with OPC and between the arms there are some stampings. The one side has the length usually 175 and the other side has the letters F U PAO on it. They are the same ones found on Haro FST and Sports. I will post pics of the stampings tonight for you.

Here is a set.

thats every peregrine bar ever made.
peregrine never really had a quality control department, i dont think they even had a jig when welded.  they had a few riders suggest ideas and design a few parts then the suits at teel inc. would pick up the phone and cut a check to whatever company would make their part (of varying degree of craftsmanship or poorly designed part) or would just throw their decal on whatever.
