Peregrine Owners Appreciation Thread - Show Your Stuff!!!

As the title suggest, this thread is a show piece for all Peregrine owners cool

I consider Peregrine as one of the most underrated brands from the late 80's freestyle era and want to pay respect to it. We know that as far as parts, wether it be the handlebars or the 3pc cranks, they are top notch, but when it came to the actual bikes, people seem to forget about them.

So here we have a thread to show some love to one of my favorite brands and have others learn about them too.  Show your bikes and any unusual, rare, unknown about part here. Also if you have any promo stuff or gear and such, do show it off too.

Thanks!!!

I'll start with this one smile
This was my 1988 Peregrine Pro. I traded a Skyway StreetBeat frame for this frame and built it with some Peregrine Craig LePage forks, which were found in a crackheads' garage.

This was one of the best riding bikes I've owned.
http://i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh489/jrleon80/DSC05470_zpsd3b44942.jpg

I love this ass shot haha.
http://i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh489/jrleon80/DSC05471_zps6b868ff4.jpg

But unfortunately for the Pro, I had to use most of the parts from it, specially the forks in my next Peregrine - a 1992 Peregrine Craig LePage.  The frame was a trade with a fellow member. I traded an almost complete 1994 Haro Sport for it and would do it again with no thought given. This is one of the most gorgeous frames ever designed.

Unfortunately this is the only decent pic of the bike as it sits currently. I need to polish it and redo the brake cables and a few other small things but other than that, it's done. This bike also rides great, although a bit heavier than the Pro.

Now it's your turn smile

Re: Peregrine Owners Appreciation Thread - Show Your Stuff!!!

Here are some unusual parts I haven't seen before.

This is a Peregine Strut handlebar which is a thing of beauty.
http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh166/adamdawson/SDC10815.jpg

I saw a Morales bike with this handlebar on it but can't find the damn pic, can somebody dig it up? They look phenomenal on an actual bike.

And this rare chainring, which is being sold by fellow member steves_estates. I have ever see one of these before and would definitely buy it, but I had a small run in with the seller when he first came to the museum, so that's that. Maybe someone else picks it up:lol:

Rides great. Only wished it came to me with its original wheel set. May end up changing them out for something Peregrine, as well as  the goofy chain wheel.

Hoping to add a LaPage to my collection sometime. cool

Here is my 1988 Peregrine City Runner that I converted to a single speed cruiser. I mimicked my Peregrine B1 when I put this together. Parts list is original paint and decals f/f, Peregrine Strut bars, Anlun stem, Dia-Compe brakes, Peregrine seat post and clamp, Velo seat, Peregrine sprocket, Redline flight cranks rebadged, Peregrine pedals, White Ind. freewheel and the ONLY set I have ever seen 26" Peregrine 48's.

Re: Peregrine Owners Appreciation Thread - Show Your Stuff!!!

Yea these are all so awesome!

I remember flipping through mags as a kid and Peregrine didnt advertise as strong as other brands and werent in every LBS, so I was always stoked to see how rad their stuff was.
I put them and Redline in the same category in my head as bikes I couldnt ever get. Now I want one.
