1980 Cook Bros. Racing

BMX has been sold

G'day,

This is my pride & joy because a few years ago i had to sell my entire bmx collection to pay for bills and the bike that hurt the most to sell was my old CBR so thankfully i found another frame set and built this one.

It's not 100% era correct so it's going to be a long & expensive journey to find all the right parts to complete it.  I'm still searching for a set of CBR decals because the ones currently on it are in real poor shape so please let me know if you have any for sale... ; )

I absolutely love these CBR bmx frames because they look awesome & they're built to last.  The quality of the welds and the geometry is just bloody awesome so it's no wonder these bikes are great to ride.

Anyways, i hope you like my CBR because it was a blast to build ... ; )

Bike Specs:

CBR Frame & CBR Undrilled Forks
1980's Polished Stronglight 3 Piece Cranks
Polished 39 Stronglight Chain-wheel
NEW YST Sealed BB
JC JMC Stainless 16 inch Seat Post
Silver DC MX Seat Clamp
NOS 1970's - 80's Italian Kashi type Black Seat
New Re-issue Ame Cam Black Grips
JC CBR Slant Stem
Al's Rapid Pro size CBR Handle-Bars
NOS Tange Chrome Headset
NOS Black Araya rims with Stainless Spokes & Early GT chrome loose ball hubs
New Knarley Fat & Skinny knobby tires
Gold KMC chain
NOS MKS Gold pedals  (pedals will be replaced with Black MKS 9/16 pedals)

I will update the photos ASAP because they're too dark and unclear so i apologise.
