Re: Who Welded Your Frame?

Just FYI SAL CORREA is out of Vista Ca. He was the main welder at SE (especially the aluminum frames) he also built all the VRP, Texas fireman bikes and Redman frames when he stopped using the Technique frame style.

Almost forgot about this thread, and almost forgot about Scott Hice likely being the one who welded this:

Re: Who Welded Your Frame?

Not sure who welded it... but he may have died welding the top tube to the head tube as it wasn't finished...

This may end up being a very short thread that goes absolutely nowhere! lol

I currently have a 1994 (I think) Supercross SX 500 awaiting completion, and I am very excited.  I've been intrigued by SX ever since I first knew about them in '95, and decided to dig into their history, which I found here at their website:
http://www.supercrossbmx.com/history-of … s-bmx.html

While reading, I learned that a man by the name of John Sevrin is most likely the one who welded my frame.  I was pretty stoked to learn this, because it's kind of like looking at one's family tree.

Re: Who Welded Your Frame?

Flatland bike -  welded by Dave Harrison at Pedal Driven Cycles in Athens, Ga. This is the third bike I've had that Dave welded, the first being a 2-hip Stout Boy 20 years ago, the second was an FBM Equilibrium from 2004.

Ramp bike - whoever welds Sunday's frames in Taiwan.
