1982 Hutch Pro Racer

Clean Hutch quality!!

I got this from the second owner and he had it since the 80's. It was ridden but not abused, prideful rider. Gotta love it!! It's got a Tuf Neck stem, Tuff Neck seat clamp, Ukai rims, Suzue hubs, Cheng Shin tires,  Suntour freewheel, HU-BMX bottom bracket, Dia Compe MX1000 Chrome brakes, Sugino chain ring and 3-piece Maxy Cross cranks, Viscount Aero seat, Hutch Bear Trap Brown Bearing Pedals, and the original Hutch Pro Racer bars. This bike will be kept in survivor condition.

Re: 1982 Hutch Pro Racer

Thank you, thank you!!! lol

I have been cleaning it every day since I've had it, I should post up some more recent pics cause since those pictures I have completely stripped the bike of it's parts and have been having long kick-back cleaning sessions out in the garage and getting all of the meticulous nooks and crannies. Very relaxing indeed!!!

I have regreased everything so far except the front wheel. I have done the cranks, headset, and rear wheel. Everything degreased and degrimed and then regreased with Mobil 1 Synthetic grease. For non-sealed bearings the bars spin super smooth and fast, the cranks spin pretty darn smooth too and everything is nice and tight.

I'm planning to leave this Hutch in survivor condition so my son can have this bike when he is older, "as it really was back in the day".
