Re: 2014 Stranger Nomad

Well, I realized a couple of things that I didn't know about myself before building this bad boy up.
1. Mags look cool, but for riding, mags are not for me.
2. I like looooong top tubes.

Gotta figure out what wheels to get for this. I like the red and black Subrosa wheels. Those would look pretty cool.

I think it looks awesome with the Skyways, but I'm from the old-school era. An old-school guy that likes new-school bikes.

This one gets an A+ on both. cool

Re: 2014 Stranger Nomad

Ring ring!! I dig it!! And like you, not super keen on the mags look, but it does fit this bike...I'd go with white rims w/ black or maybe red hubs!! Looks good!!

Thank you!

I have a set of red Revenge Industries wheels with red rims/black hubs/spokes. I may try those to see what it looks like.

Re: 2014 Stranger Nomad

Really cool build. Very similar idea to what my buddy and me did with my 2013 redline recon. We put mine together with what he had laying around that he could spare to give me. Yours is very nice and looks professionally done.

Re: 2014 Stranger Nomad

Love the way this came out with the Tuffs - kind of like a modern tribute bike. Anyone know if Billy ended up selling this bike?

Thanks.

Still got it. smile

I dig when I'm riding it down on the Nautical Mile in Freeport, NY where I live and someone comments on the nostalgic radness of this whip.

It's a shame redline hasn't jumped into the retro market.

Re: 2014 Stranger Nomad

Thinking about letting this one go. Someone talk me out of it!!! We’re moving and my basement is half the size....so, I’m gonna get rid of 6 or 7 of my precious bikes. Somethings gotta go.
What do I keep? What do sell?
I know my Rasta isn’t going anywhere. That’s the only one I’m sure about. Nothing else gets ridden.
Decisions...
