Re: Who knows baseball cards? What is this worth

I think cards by 1991 were an oversaturated market. You gotta be 1970 or before. And based on the hall of fame careers of the guys on the cards, like Hensly Muelens and Mark Davis, I'd have to guess the paper is worth more than the ink.

Re: Who knows baseball cards? What is this worth

^^ Even early cards aren't worth chit comparison to what they were, funny, someone just mentioned that recently in a thread. I too have a big ol' pile of cards that I held onto for too long. lol

No worries on the value, I have very very little into them.  Bought them on a picker whim.  Probably will make good wallpaper!

Re: Who knows baseball cards? What is this worth

When my dad passed away he had about 60 milk crates full of 80's, 90's cards.  I was finally able to sell them for $500 after I thought I was sitting on a gold mine.  It was two truck loads!

I have 80's into early 90's cards.   I've haven't decided what I am going to do with them since the market fell out.

Re: Who knows baseball cards? What is this worth

I have a box of thousands upon thousands of baseball and hockey cards from 85-92 sitting at my parents place. 99% of them aren't worth the paper they are printed on.

Re: Who knows baseball cards? What is this worth

You have to have everything professionally graded now so it will cost you about $18 a card for that and you find out it's worth zero.

no there not worth much.  + they have been reissueing Garbage pail  since day one. all the do is change the  name on card. same picture same stail hard as rock gum.  but  instead of card reading un zipped Zack it  reads un zipped Jack,,un zipped Mack and so on. so there's like 12 years or more of the same card floating around just new names.neutral  theres no date stamp on boxes or the  cards.  so  well never  mind.
