1988 GT Pro Freestyle Tour

a sweet ride back to 1988!

this is a retro trip to my first pro freestyle tour, which barring none,is my fave bike ever,my first one was black, and I changed the stock wheels to superlaces, and the levers to tech 7's,but other than that, and the color,it's exactly the same bike, this came courtesy of member mikep1250,which helped me out a lot there, thanks mike, this is my holy grail bike, although one always wants what one hasn't got, like sinead o' connor, lol, well, opposite, actually!its stock and unused to the t,even the tires(stock lp-II's)have a thin label over the gt logo on the sidewalls,to say this bike exceeds any expectations I had when I learned other people besides myself cherished and kept old bikes,is an understatement!the list of components is the usual gt lineup,gt pft f/f pp bars, chromo post,gt 1988 stem, with the routing hole(most subsequent ones didnt have the hole, only the shape of it),rx3 levers,gt ame anatomical grips,gt 2188 seat,gt 88 clamp,dx type pedals,no SR here!lol!sealed bb,gt power series one pice engraved crank,175 mm,gt wings cd sprocket,990/883(good thing this one didnt have the axiom u brake by lee chi)gt six spoke mags,gt chain, frame, fork standers,26 t pegs, gyro, epoch headset,as well as the gt attitude, lol!thanks again, mike,I will keep this one dissassembled for now, cause I know me,good thing I have a pft rider or 2 available.this one's too nice to be killed!lol!

My Father once spoke to me and said "The way you look at your bike is the way I see My children, I look past the imperfections and rough surfaces to the beauty of the finished product."
