Just put this together. Missing the SPC in this pic. Otherwise it’s together. However, there is a super annoying creak that seems to be coming from the bb, and I’m trying to get that sorted.

Looks like a good rider to thrash around on.  Is this a Haro?

Re: WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON?

I’ve been slowly chipping away at this build all winter. Almost done.  All original Robi SST frame/f/bars and I believe the Chainwheel is original to the bike.  I swapped out the original non stamped GT stem for this black piston stem.

This is a 2001 Schwinn Predator Trail with no original parts. I think I'll add it to my bikes, plenty of time to take pics. Just submitted it.

I dig it.  I haven't really seen many Schwinn bikes from the "tank era".

Re: WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON?

Found this Huffy Tremor for $25 and gave it a new life-- my best friend in elementary school rode of these and I always liked it better than my Mongoose. Ridiculously heavy, but still fun to ride!

Re: WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON?

Completely stripped down and given a good polish and general clean, now reassembling it. New set of wheels and tyres, new chain wheel added and also a new chain will be going on as well.

Love the color combo here.
Black with gold decals, and chrome.
Very nice smile

Re: WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON?

The other day, I turned this...
https://bmxmuseum.com/image/img_536759c9a46c27_blowup.jpg

...into this...
https://bmxmuseum.com/image/8faef1cd-002c-4d77-9062-19c75b9ad8065e9119172d785_blowup.jpg

I may be able to swap out tires, tubes, and grips, along with adjusting the rear cones to make this rideable today:

I've slowly been acquiring the parts needed to get both of these done.  The Powerlite is on the front burner.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON?

Come to think of it, since I don't feel the need to make this one perfect, and I have a lot of the necessary parts, there's a good chance of this getting done pretty soon...
