Thanks man. You aren’t the first person to comment on that rubber, they were on my ProMod when I bought it. They don’t seem to have many miles on them. My buddy has a one inch SBC fork I’m trying to get off him, then I should be ready to start putting it together.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON?

I want to build a BMX Bike.. lol.. but seriously for the past 15 years I've been building various "Flatland" bikes or "Race" bikes or "Street/Park" Bikes having taken a hiatus from BMX and now returning I am going to build a bike I can ride everything on (although ill still ride flatland on my flatland bike)

I'm thinking something long enough to be stable in the air but strong enough to grind a ledge or hit a mild drop if I want to.

WTB: Odyssey GTXR Detangler in black  (the one with the knarps), Chrome Primo Strand with or without mounts.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON?

http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/47469/img_20200202_1625335e374cda0b.jpg

I have been working on this for a month now.  I should have known better than to buy from my uncle, but I'm having fun getting this truck back to where it should be.  Replaced lights, heater resistor, radio, and two wiring harnesses, so far.  I have new speakers to replace the stock ones on the way and a new stock seat pad and cover for the driver's seat.  Crap! I also have a new thermostat, sensor, radiator hoses, and LED bulbs for the headlights.  This thing is getting expensive to be just a "work truck".  My girlfriend has already informed me that this is now a project truck.  I forgot I have a new tailgate that needs to be painted in my house and a spare set of seats I picked up Saturday.  If the rain stops, I may list some things like bikes and skateboards, so that I can afford new tires and a new rear bumper.  See, it is a project.  Not as cool as a Chevelle, but almost as fun taking something older and bringing it back to life.

I keep buying and selling, so I guess I wasn't happy with the four I had left.
