These original decals are just too great to give up on first thing, so I'm going to try and save them. Stripping the original clear coat and spray paint.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON?

Just got this back from Chip.

I straightened out the crushed brake bridge and cleaned up the rear drops. Chrome on forks was trashed and the frame was OK'ish so I went white. Came out good.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON?

My dumbass had such a hard time trying to remove some one piece cranks a few months ago, I started leaving them on when stripping and refinishing.  These came off like butter though. Will be my first bottom bracket overhaul.  Frame is coming out nicely. Thorough wet sanding with 220 grit almost done.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON?

Nothing as cool as what's going on here, but I'm working on making this 2019 GT Street Performer 29 (straight from the box and never built) into something cool https://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=786955

This is my first project, and I'm really just swapping out a bunch of stock parts, but I'm having fun.
