%#* 1984 GT Performer Thread *#%

Post your 84 performers here, I know these started in Feb of 1984 and not stamped Till late April 1984, after May I guess will be considered mid 84s. Late 84s, some consider 85model but still have the same look/ attributes of 84.

Post pics and info here like the difference between early, mid, and late 1984s, parts difference Etc.

Here are some pics of my Two 84s, chrome is a Feb 84 and the yellow is Aug 84 Eddie Fiola tribute bike.

Re: %#* 1984 GT Performer Thread *#%

I love the '84's so I'll play cool. This is my son's November '84 U.S. FS stamped Pro Performer rider. Low seat stays, fork without cable guides, and Pro Bars. Most of the parts are survivor except for the new issue MX1000's and repop pad from 2007.

Re: %#* 1984 GT Performer Thread *#%

The pic above had most of the parts from my PK Ripper put onto my new Performer f+f, this pic shows how it looked when i'd fitted the parts of my choice, then in 86 it got a Kawasaki green rattle can make over and the Santa Ana decals replaced the original Huntington beach decals

I'm not really into freestyle bikes but if I was ever going to buy one it would be an early Performer! Such a great-looking bike and that Fiola yellow is iconic! cool
