JP pedals show up on ebay frequently.  I've seen them go in the 100.00+ range.

Re: 1985 Redline RL-20II

How in the hell did they get that acs rotor on there..I was only able to ride with a gyro on my GT pro performer.Couldn't get it onto the RL 20II cause of the double bars on the frame..Can you get a close up shot on that?Oh I'm kicking myself for stripping down a Radberry to chrome.trust I feel really stupid for doing that.

Re: 1985 Redline RL-20II

Sure you can get a gyro to fit.  Just bend the tabs on the plate so that the barrel adjusters clear the wraparound top tubes.  I've seen it done plenty of times.

Re: 1985 Redline RL-20II

Very tidy bike!, i agree with caleb on the stem but all the same damn nice neat and tidy bike!
As for the rotor....a quick change from the origional headset with the proper bearing cup cable guide should be all u'd need to do....as long as it is direct BETWEEN the main top bars as looks like has been done in this case.

Latteral thinking is cooool!

Re: 1985 Redline RL-20II

I just saw this post.  Real nice bike, kinda looks like RL Osborn's chrome RL20II with the Hazard Yellow stickers that he rode in 86.  Would look nice in Hazard Yellow again!

Re: 1985 Redline RL-20II

That's the bike.  I like how RL rode a chrome RL20II with 85 Hazard Yellow stickers in 86.  It even had both lower and upper peg mounts.  RL always seemed to have something that wasn't available for sale.  I think RL was Redline's quality control.  If he liked it, they would eventually sell it!

Re: 1985 Redline RL-20II

man that pic awesome..  i would love to have that fork with both peg mounts..  i tryed to contact R.L. to get his autograph on a number plate i have somewhat replicated like one he had on his hazard yellow rl22 but he never responded, im bummed about that..

i did discover you cannot run a rotor on a 4 bolt forklifter stem the quill in not even close to long enuff...
