1986 Redline RL-20II
1986 Redline RL-20II
(SOLD)
Hi everyone!
I have been a long time lurker here and finally joined. I used to freestyle everyday back in high school and am going to start again. I have owned MANY different freestyle bikes but the REDLINE RL 20II has always been my favorite. This is the third RL 20II I have owned. I just finished the build. For those of you that may recognize the frame this used to be Scott's old bike (serva on Vintage BMX forum), I just finished getting all the small bits powdercoated by Chip at C4 Labs, he does INCREDIBLE work! Here are some pics and a breakdown of all the parts used. Sorry if I may offend some of you as I am not a purist in any way, I use parts that work for me, doesn't matter what brand it is. Although the pics may suggest that this bike is a show queen it is NOT, this is my daily rider.

Re: 1986 Redline RL-20II
Also,
Here is a test ride video, I landed the first trick, fire hydrant into cherrypicker. I tried to do a decade after that but my rear brakes kept slipping on me.
Sorry for the poor quality, this was taken with a cell phone.

I used to do that trick so that brought a tear to my eye.... Such a nice bike . My friend had one just like it back in 87. I like the yellow cables. Balances out the decals nicely. Nice touch. Great bike.
