Can anyone spot why these are different than most every other pair of early GT bars?

Snickers Bars. lol

Seriously though, what about those old Schwinn bars that droop down on both sides? Sting bars?

Definitely not rare but cool nonetheless are the Haro bars with the removable crossbar from the 90's.

I would try rocking them without the bar. Good bar hop practice.

Re: top 10 most rare handlebars.

Bandito bars are pretty scarce I'd bet,
they were very similar to CW pro bars, but had a square middle crossbar added like Hutch Dominguez bars
I wanted them  sooo bad when I was 13,and this kid in my town had a pair. If he saw me he'd take off 'cuz I'd  just bug him relentlessly to sell/trade them.I offered him a dirt bike! He agreed but his parents were tools and said he couldn't, man I was bummed.

Re: top 10 most rare handlebars.

I'll answer this question seriously now. I would have to say REBEL racing bars. A total of three sets have sold on here and I've seen maybe 6 sets to date. They made CW style bars and v-bars and they both are very hard to find

Re: top 10 most rare handlebars.

The other thread is better.

That said, my opinion would list the following as arguably some of the hardest bars to obtain.

-VDC
-Fishbone RAW, in RAW
-OG Graveyards w/ sweep
-Ozone 5-piece
-1st Gen (sans crossbar) Odyssey Flying Wedge
-1st or 2nd Gen Hoffman Love Handles (or for you purists who are WRONG, the prototypes and the 1st gen)
-JAD's
-ZeroNines (The adjustable grip tubes)
-Big Gulp
-Vector w/ the stem guard (not the Columbia knockoffs)

I'll take a shot at it. The sticker? Weren't the earlier bars out of Santa Ana?

-1st or 2nd Gen Hoffman Love Handles (or for you purists who are WRONG, the prototypes and the 1st gen)

I  thought Adam Dawson cleared this up. Prototypes were the grey chocolate-bars looking bars, never made it to the public... or do you not count those since they were never sold?

I count the "chocolate-bar w/ removable grip tubes" prototypes as 1st gen.  Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't care.

My scooter's Love Handles are 4th gen.  Period.
