1982 Laguna Cruiser 26

1980-1982 Laguna Cruiser - Started a trend of buying strandies at the OS show...

Original paint, KMET VH sticker and Laguna fork with Tange decals. Hooked up via Strandie Guru Ryan Partridge (beard and turban optional!).
Frame - Original paint head tube gusseted Laguna cruiser in found in someone's yard condition
Fork - Tange built and stickered L dropout Laguna forksHangin' On - Tuf Neck alloy bars and unstamped Tuf Neck stemPedalin' - Hutch Windstyler spider, cranks and cast beartraps for a little old-school fancy-pantsRollin' - Araya 7X (converted OS MTB) with Sunshine hubs with Cheng Shin Lunar Lander tires 26x2.125Sittin' - Random quilted seat from Larock that fit the period survivor look, late '80s GT seat post and Cycle Pro Clamp faded from gold to bare aluminumStoppin' - Chang Star MX1000 knockoffs down to the CS cast end on the cable, OG "wish I had more money" set up.
My favorite bike. (So far!) Rides a million times better than my random LBS beach cruiser. Unassuming, under the radar and TCB (insert your own lightening bolt here)... As Crandall says, I *heart* my bike!
Thanks to Ryan and the other members who hooked me up with parts to get this thing where it is.

Thanks man! Got to represent the old and cold!

Did you see the short interview with Tony Hamlin in the Dan's comp catalog a couple months ago?! Claimed that the cover shot was taken at Hamlin Beach state park (actually in Puerto Rico as I recall). Totally cracked me up!

Re: 1982 Laguna Cruiser 26

Thanks guys! Just put a 2 speed Bendix yellow stripe kickback on it and I'm really enjoying the ride with that setup.
