Re: Laguna Cruisers..Post Them Up Let's See Them!!

Hey, Ivan.  That cream colored Laguna in Jax is posted a few posts above.  Museum gets a better pic than CL.  That bike is beautiful and solid.  Eric is a great dude and did a nice job on that one.  I've been lucky enough to ride it a few times.  I love it but I'm poor.  Maybe more common in CA, crazy rare for the east coast.

Re: Laguna Cruisers..Post Them Up Let's See Them!!

Some damn fine Laguna's all of them!!

Not saying I wouldn't want a Cook Cruiser because I would, but I love my Laguna.

Hey Ryan, quick question since you have a good amount of Cook love in your quiver, which did they make less of Cook Cruisers or Cro-Moly Laguna Cruisers? Really just curious. Thanks.

I really don't know how many 4130 Laguna frames were made, but 9 out of 10 I've seen are mild steel.

I believe between 750 and 800 Cook Bros Cruisers (3 bar style) were made. I have approximately 100 or so accounted for.

Thanks Ryan. That is a good percentage of known Cook Bros.. One day all things will align that I may own a piece of Cook Cruiser history, in the mean time Viva Laguna!

Yeah sometime between those years Laguna cruisers got manufactured in Asia. Every now and then one of those imported Laguna pop up...the gusset is different, headtube has a badge that looks like the old sticker, dropouts are different, etc.,...

Bernard from Cyclone Coasters has one...it's been spray painted a dozen times.
A minty blue one was on eBay within the last year for around 550 bucks buy-it-now. It was pulled within a day and a week later was on Santa Barbara Craigslist for like 1,200 bucks. hmm
