I've seen someone do "twin front brakes" before.  There's no rational reason for it, but he put a caliper on the back of the fork & 990's on the front.  tongue

Agreed. Pretty dumb. I was considering running my 0 offset forks backwards so the brakes are to the inside so my foot didn't scuff against them for funky chicken and other over the bar scuff tricks. But I haven't commited to the idea yet. tongue

Can you give an example of when this would come in handy? hmm

Re: For Those That Want To Post Their KHE BIKES!!!

i did this setup a couple of years ago, when i broke a couple of bones in my left hand + couldn't pull the lever properly
works ok when doing tricks on the 'other' side of the bike or when trying switch handed stuff wink

I"m sure if you put a front brake lever on the seatstay & use a gyro, you could probably invent new tricks.  :p

2004 KHE Flatland Jesse Puente Signature Series

http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/khe_/48895

Another mid 2000.'s eBay score. Like about $150 and barely used. This was my son's first freestyle bike! cool

I upgraded a few parts since these pics. KHE Pyramid Locking Grips, KHE platform Pedals, etc.

I'm not a fan of the parts either, but I LOVE that color.  No idea what his reserve is....but probably not cheap.

Yeah. I know you like that purple. smile
And your right Bob. They (the pink and purple ones above) look like they were restored by a girl. tongue  Clean, but girly. Just throw some tassels on the ends of the bars. Both would be nice for Brian's twins. smile

Re: For Those That Want To Post Their KHE BIKES!!!

Was thinking of re-doing my '07 DaFunction someday. But here is how she sits now. I don't care for the short DaFu bars. But they were meant to be with this frame. Fortunately I have 2 of these frames in the same color. So maybe I will build one up with new parts and leave this one relatively mid 2K style. smile
