1977 DG ZF-1

100% All Original Survivor.

I bought this bike while looking at a 68 VW bus I purchased. The bike was inside the bus. I never heard of DG but knew it was some thing special do to the parts on the bike. When I asked the owner about it he said it was his bike as a child. I bought the VW bus and the bike. The OG owner told me that his best friends dad was one of the engineers that made the uni seats hear in Portland Oregon were he grew up. He told me this was one of the prototype seats. This bike is 100% Survivor with no dents, minor chips and no rust or welds. OG paint.

Insane find!      Not too many complete survivors as perfect as that left lying around...you have a real one-off there  cool

...don't see too many yellow Uni's either...that DG would seriously be the find of a lifetime for a lot of people

Re: 1977 DG ZF-1

I think your DG is a '78 or newer.  ' 77 and older had the straight D and '78 and newer changed to the curved.

Re: 1977 DG ZF-1

Super cool.  Not a ZF-1 though.  It's a Racer 1.  The euro bottom bracket and shorter top tube give it away.  A Racer 1 is every bit as cool as a ZF 1.  Maybe cooler.  The earlier DG forks are definitely cooler than the ZF era forks.  That bike is perfecto garcia!
