Re: Dogs

I'm feeling sad because my son's girlfriend's family will be putting down their beloved Mozart this Thursday.  He has been dealing with a tumor for some months now, and his old body simply cannot take it anymore.  I only made his acquaintance once, and found him to be a good dog who has lived an abundant life filled with love.  The girlfriend's mother believes that Mozart hung in there long enough for the girlfriend to come home from spring break to see him one last time, and I believe it.  Welling up as I type this now.  Dammit.
