Re: Dogs

I’m sorry for your loss too Riden. It’s really hard when we loose our furry loved ones. I’m just now starting to come out of my depression. Just remember that they are in a better place and no longer suffering.

I unfortunately did start crying again today when I received Sadie’s remains in a golden urn. The place we took her also included a loch of fur and a casted paw print for us to hang up. sad sad

That's a fine way to remember her and all she meant to you and your family, Jeff.  I know the meaning of this song isn't exactly dog-related, but it is a magnificent song that does refer to love and affection toward a special lady.  Seems to me that Sadie was a special lady...

Thanks Perron, everyday we all say how much we miss having her around. I got about 2 minutes into the song and had to stop, it was just too sad for me. She really was a sweetheart, always super gentle with kids and always patient with them too. She’ll always be with us and missed.

Sorry for your loss. I am not taking it well at all.

It’s fully understandable, a week later and I’m still crying. We may only have a short time with our companions but their impacts last a lifetime. Remember all the good times and how happy you made each other. That’s how they would want us to remember them, when they were at their happiest.
