1984 Astron

Rare frame made by Champion for Astron Racing.

I raced for Bicycles Unlimited representing Astron in the mid eighties in Farmington, NM. I don't have the forks because they both cracked at the dropouts. I still have two frames. One is still set up for racing though I don't race I still ride. I raced USBA and ABA nationals and the Grands in 1985 Dallas 14 expert, DNQ. Great frame wish they had better distribution. I remember they had trouble getting the die right to make the point behind the seatpost so that held it up.
