1984 Mongoose Californian

(Traded)

A Second Edition Californian was released in 1984. The early model that year was Tri-Moly, The later model was All Tubes 4130.

This seems to be mostly a survivor. But some parts have been changed out. This is as the bike was recieved minus the Mongoose grips I took off. The end caps are near mint still.
Parts list
Pro Class Wheels with Suzue sealed hubs, Shimano 16 T freewheel and Mylar strips.
pro Class Bars
Californian Frame/Fork a part of the model sticker is intact and the all tubes 4130 on the top tube.
Lee Chi Brakes rear
Dia Compe 880 front
Takagi 44 T
Pro Class Spider
SR Stem (MS-422)
Mongoose seat
Hinged seat clamp (Dia Compe Type)
Dyno Drain Post

Re: 1984 Mongoose Californian

I never get tired of looking at these. Nice survivor

I get this question often so here it is to save everyone time. I do not have any Mongoose DMC decals left. I was lucky enough to find a small bunch of NOS decal sets in an old bike shop that no longer exists and I have since sold them all. Sorry. I wish you all the best of luck with your DMC builds.
