Maybe some of the members from Australia could help?

They have a huge OS BMX scene and would know where to send parts out for chrome/anno/polish etc.

Looks like a great project, though I would media blast the wheels. smile

Clean them up. Sprocket is an Ashtabula. Cover is way too beat up. But definitely a contender for media blast project. The crank! Thought it was chrome. It was rusted like hell. Duhh..

Question. When I remove them, theres some glue like residue. What are those? I need to put them before I fix the head and BB right?

if  the cap ends welded are welded then u have a nice set of old school redline forks.... hopefully they will be nickel under the purple.

Yup. It is a redline with the end welded. Better than Tange? I know no shits about all this stuff.
And if it's an old school Redline, what's the size of the stem? Was think of changing the head but I don't know what size is the race.

I would paint the cranks flat black and not use the sprocket cover... Just my opinion... If you do use it I would also paint that flat black... Very good work so far...

A little help guys.
I drop the parts in vinegar and salt mixture for 1 1/2 days. The rusted cranks looks like out from the box smile but some parts of my internals for the coaster set turn black and rusted!!!
I know I shouldn't left it for too long but I tot vinegar remove rust not make the parts more rusted than before. The clutch assembly turns totally black and when I wipe it, it was like totally hard rust.

If I cant get the rust clean, I might have to give up on the coaster brake. I mean having the parts rusted makes my heart ache. I tried scrubbing it with steel wool but it seems that the metals has been eaten up. sad

Got my bike sprayed by a very good fren of mine.
Frame covered in 3m anti rust then sprayed silver and lastly Metallic Black. Nice tongue

wheels...its still black. dipp it in boiling water in my mums cooking pot. put some yellow dye and salt and its still black.
bought 2 cans of yellow spray.
2 cans of gold spray. now thinking of the color im going to spray them with.
I manage to get the bendix dremeled. got a pal asking the chrome shop if they can plate it. if not then I just have to live with the rust. maybe just put lots of grease and hope their smooth.

I use white lithium grease or hi-temp auto grease...
