Re: 44T Old/Mid/New School BMX Club of DETROIT

Jeff and I were tentatively talking about a ride Saturday the 18th.....   no other plans than that yet, I guess open to just about anything.  I will be down for a show that night so riding noonish? To late afternoon?  IDK, just throwing it out there to see if there's any interest.  big_smile. Downtown, eastern market, armada was mentioned, who knows.

Re: 44T Old/Mid/New School BMX Club of DETROIT

Hey guys, like Johnny mentioned, we plan on riding downtown on Saturday, May 18th, 6 days from now.  As of now, it looks like it should be pretty warm, mid 70's.  So now we just have to hope for dry weather.  To be honest, if it's raining, we probably are not riding.  We plan to park at or near the Wheelhouse parking lot and start the ride about 11am.  We need to figure out a loop to ride, but hope to include the waterfront boardwalk, dequindre cut, maybe swing thru eastern market area (food trucks, germac coffee etc), ride past the ballparks(there's a tigers game, but not til 4:10pm) and hit lafayette/american coney island.
There probably won't be a big enough response to bother starting a separate thread, so if anyone is interested, stay tuned here.  and please comment if you think you want to join

As we discussed, I'm already committed that weekend. But we need to ride more often around here. Good on you Jeff, for getting the ball rolling. Hope to make the next one or set it up.

Re: 44T Old/Mid/New School BMX Club of DETROIT

Rides are like New Years eve parties. Nobody wants to commit to one, because they want to see if something better comes up, LOL
