1981 CW Racing ZL Pro

Pre-Serial mail order bad boy......

Picked this up in a trade from CW 5150. Super clean, pre-serial ZL Pro with a 19.5" top tube. Took awhile to source all the parts to build it the way I wanted but it was worth the wait. The decals were pretty trashed on this so I scored an og set from Caleb. Parts include.......
CW Expert Bars
Sugino 400 180mm Crankset
Tange MX-5 Headset
Pro Neck Stem
Dia Compe MX 1000 Brake & Seat Clamp
GT Seat Post
Elina Saddle
Oakley F-1 Grips
Ukai Speedline Rims w/Suntour Hubs
KKT Lightning Pedals
HKK Smoker Chain
Comp III Tires

Another killer build ... without knowing the background I'm going to go ahead and proclaim you got the better of half of the trade.

Re: 1981 CW Racing ZL Pro

Yeah...it turned out great.  Cool to see it with an OG decal set.  My ZL is one of my favorite riding bikes.  The long top tube makes it great to cruise on.

Re: 1981 CW Racing ZL Pro

Stunning CW mate, looks exactly the same as mine from BITD although I had the laid back CW post. Man that was a long bike for a 14 year old to ride LOL

Second shelf is mine. That's where I keep my root beers and my double-thick Oreo cookies. Nobody touches the second shelf but me.
