Re: 1987 Haro Sport
I have a similar situation with my 87 so I'm curious to see what direction you go. The OG finish on my frame is rubbish but the chrome that's peaking out underneath looks really good so I'll probably go naked and see if I like it. The fork I sourced is also chrome which gives me the option of staying chrome or going with a color. The chrome option definitely is the cheapest option. Keep us/me posted glad to see you're reviving your old ride!

Yeah the chrome looks good. I don't have the original fork anymore...it got trashed years ago lol. So the color I decide on will be based on what replacement fork I can acquire. I still have the handlebar which is chrome too so I may just go that route. I have most of the retro parts, Tuff Wheels, etc. Just need the forks.
I love my cruisers!

darn that's too bad about the forks. Did you at least hang onto the standers? The forks don't pop up everyday but they are out there as our the standers but the 2 of those fetch more than the frame typically I'll keep an eye peeled for some 87ish forks and let you know if something crosses my path.
