1996 Standard Tao Paul Osicka

Paul Osickas Prototype 1996 TAO the 1st TAO ever made !!!

This is the 1st TAO ever made for Paul Osicka it is the Prototype frame and was built without brake mounts as Paul only ran front brakes at the time and also has a longer top tube the production model frames. The frame still has it`s original paint and decals and is the same frame that was used in the Standard Bykes Marlboro ad in 96`

Re: 1996 Standard Tao Paul Osicka

I recognize that green paint poking out behind the chips and scratches on that Tao. This Paul's fork to that frame and that ad. The early standard forks had a pretty big gap from the tire to the steer tube so he filed the dropout slots deeper so his toe would stop getting wedged in there. He had retired these ones after tweaking them street riding.
