2010 S&M Speedwagon (Prototype)

One of the first S&M Speedwagon prototype frames!  Approximately 10 of these were made for testing.  This one went to Jared "The Jet" Garcia.  SN 121001

After seeing this bike on the local Craigslist, I decided to contact the seller and take a look at it (2/24/2014). I learned that the seller was a good friend of Jared "The Jet" Garcia (factory Supercross, A Pro racer) and had received this bike from Jared as a birthday present. Now in college (he's actually the first guy to appear in this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-F6_w61s6A), the seller needed some cash, so he put the bike on the chopping block and I gladly bought it. The seller thought that the frame was an S&M 38 Special, but after I took it home, I realized that it was one of the first S&M Speedwagon prototype frames (http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/sandm/61974)! Approximately 10 of these frames were made for testing. With the exception of the stem, brakes, brake lever, seat, seat post, and seat post clamp (the seller added these), all of the parts on this bike came from Jared Garcia.

And yes, I live in a hotel room...

Still working in down here ha?  Cool bro.  If you're still in town in late March, you should seriously consider heading down to SD for their show on 3/22 cool

Definitely a good buy. cool bike man.

Would you like a Fat Tire, Big Sprocket, or Short Rear End. Pick two.

Thanks cool .  Also, I searched the internet for pictures of Jared "The Jet" Garcia test riding this S&M, but all I could find were gnarly race videos like this one.
