I love the Red and Gold on it. Looks fast as hell even while standing still.

Re: 1979 Redline MX-II

I remember seeing one of these in my local bike shop when I was a kid. It was right there when you walked into the store. Same colors and I think if I remember correctly the price was 300.00 something. It is an awesome awesome bike, you are very lucky to have it. Great to finally see one again....

Re: 1979 Redline MX-II

This is beautiful. As a young kid, I remember seeing this bike hanging in the bike shop when you first walked in. I remember very very similiar to this one. One other thing I remember was the price tag...it was in the upper 300.00 range. Back then, to me as a kid that was a hell of alot and I still remember that bike.......it looked almost exactly like this........your a lucky man. Thanks for the memories......

Re: 1979 Redline MX-II

What was really funny is that I postd almost the exact same thing that I posted in my previous post once before and forgot I wrote it! I looked up and was reading the earlier posts and im like hmmmmmm someone else said the same thing as me!Wait.............it was me!?!?  Dont mind me......too much work..im shot.....but it goes to show you how I still thought almost the exact same thing. Again........one of the most beautiful bikes I have ever seen........out of all the bikes I have seen throughout 30 or so years, this is THE one that sticks in my mind the most vividly. Let me know when you wanna meet up, I have 10 grand burning a hole in my pocket.....LOL........

Re: 1979 Redline MX-II

that bike is invaluable.  no one would pay what it is worth, the great pain of the craft.
