You do this on a bmx bike?

I did about eight miles slow and easy on a Sunday BMX along a bike path.  After, I did 35 miles on a GT fixed gear bike on the road.

nice.  i need to start riding more.  this thread is a good reminder not to let the weather be a deterrent to riding.

Y I force myself to get on the bike even if it is only a few miles just so I do not lose the habbit.  Make sure to get a front and rear flashing light if you ride in winter.  Riders are much less visible and there are a lot of obsctacles like snow, ice, branches and leaves that force you into the middle of the road.  Amazon sells a kind that clips on and off the seatpost and handlebar so you only need one set of lights for all your bikes.  Time change is next week and it gets really easy to run out of daylight.

Re: Who rides everyday, snow or no?

To be fair, while I ride it if is cold and dry, it is pouring rain and high 30's here.   No way I am riding.  If anyone has a system for staying warm and dry outdoors in this weather let me know.
