Have you ever seen NOS Fish Bone Bars in Raw Finish?

I Recently Picked up these NOS Fish Bone Bars with a Ton of other stuff, and Thought I would share them.. I Have Done some research on them, and I Can't Find any other Fish Bone Bars,or parts in the Raw Finish.. I Could only find one other set of Bars just like mine, and they are chrome.. So From My research I believe these Bars are pretty darn rare, and to be NOS in the Raw Finish would make them extremely rare... http://i39.tinypic.com/biwcqc.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/rjpemv.jpg http://i41.tinypic.com/21l8oaq.jpg http://i39.tinypic.com/2lu5j6q.jpg http://i41.tinypic.com/1znlp46.jpg http://i39.tinypic.com/11r7zuv.jpg

The chrome plating on my "mint" Fishbone handlebars, just like yours, is so bad they'll be raw pretty soon too. Plating is super thin.  neutral

These are a bit heavy,BUT they are from 1998 when weight did not matter. So it was not uncommon for a nice complete bike to weigh 35-45 pounds or more... My 1997 Standard STA Weighs almost 41 pounds, and it is such a Sweet bike to Ride...

I've always liked these bars.  They remind me of the Cylons on the old Battlestar Galactica.

They were production pieces - I remember seeing them in shops in the mid 90's.

Re: Have you ever seen NOS Fish Bone Bars in Raw Finish?

Just picked this up - semi-locally from the original owner.  He said he ordered the chrome Sushi bars, but these are the ones that came with his "kit".  This thing has the Blowfish hubs, Fishbone rims, all 4 pegs, gyro........

Re: Have you ever seen NOS Fish Bone Bars in Raw Finish?

Those are Bad-Ass bars.  Raw bars use a separate grip-tube, rather than a bend.

These are my submitted bar design as shown here to Jackie Yu which I deemed the Whatchamecallit bar.
