Another from big frame grab.. some dents on downtube..Rusty but I still love it..
Never had a microline b4..anyone have the correct forks/

Yes, I know they are GT forks.. I would like some appropriate forks..using these to hold up frame is all..

Hi GAry I don't have the forks but I rocked a Microline back in 79' It was candy apple red with V bars and I had the coolest bike in my neighborhood! I hope you do a total restore on this. It is a prize for sure

Gary, i got mine off 'collector 68' on here, they are NOS, apparently his grandad had a shop and they found them in back room, see my 81 micro here and thats exactly how i recieved them, [without stickers]

I'M TRYING TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT MY BIKE LIKE THE YEAR AND MODEL . IT LOOKS LIKE YOURS BUT IT ALSO HAS REDLINE STICKERS ON THE TUBE THAT GOES STRAIGHT DOWN BELOW THE SEAT . THE SERIAL IS 16927 . DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT MODEL AND YEAR IT IS ? THE COLOR IS ALSO BLACK AND ALSO HAS THE SAME REDLINE STICKER ON THE FRONT OF IT LIKE YOURS . THANK YOU

I used to have on my MX-II the same exact head tube sticker as you have. I would say it was a model 700. I have never seen another head tube sticker before until today with the chrome background. I was dumb and replaced the head tube decal. I wish I never did. I cant locate another any where. Keep the patina of the vintage rare frames.
