Re: UltraHIVE

Had a good experience dealing with him. big_smile
I know he had some personal issues about 2 years back and was moving. I know he got a bit of a bad press at that time while he made the transition. He was difficult to get ahold of.
I think he is a stand up dude.cool

Re: UltraHIVE

I have used him a lot, just look at ALL my GT's.... He might take a while sometimes to get you what you ordered but it is well worth the wait I think 3 weeks is the max I waited but it was during a build off and he was doing a bunch of custom work. Usually you will have your goods within 2 weeks. Order away and you won't be disappointed big_smile

Re: UltraHIVE

Louis does great work, he made the custom decals for the raffle bike I built for the BMX BBQ and they were perfect.

Re: UltraHIVE

Seems like a great guy to me.  I purchase one set of frame/fork stickers for my predator 24.  What showed up was WAY more than one set.  Six head tube stickers, three and a half sets of down tube stickers, four sets of fork stickers, and so on.  Plus he threw in a bunch of other random stickers.  Like 15 or 20.  Honestly if I was inclined, I could just sell the extra frame set stickers and probably get mine for free with some extra cash in my pocket.

Re: UltraHIVE

Ultrahive is good people. you just need to treat him with respect. He also is known to most of the time throw in a bonus sticker or two.  But, him throwing in many many extra's is not going to be the norm. So dont expect any more then what you pay for, and be happy if you score a bonus one.  So far,  he makes and sells alot of quality products, and is worth doing buisness with, for sure....

Come on now, did this happen once? Maybe? If you ask around, or check the thread on UltraHive in the section on Good or bad stories from EvilBay, you'll find alot of people have had good dealings with him. So be a little more open minded and positive, when your talking about someones livelyhood. Its just like giving people a bad survey.  Yeah, you feel good about trashing them?  But remember your taking money out of his pocket, every time you convince someone your outlook on him. Have a bit more class.

Re: UltraHIVE

Based on his website and eBay store, I don't think he's out of business.

I've sent him a few emails in the past and never received a response. However, I've ordered multiple decal sets and always received them.

That being said, why did you wait so long to address not getting your decals? I would have filed a Paypal claim within the allotted timeframe if my decals didn't come and my emails weren't answered. I'd keep trying to contact him... he's infamous for very bad communication. Good luck.

Re: UltraHIVE

wish I would have now! from some of the post I've came across it sounded like he took some time getting orders out being a one man business and  he also not one to easily contact. Based on that I trusted the decals would show up.is the reason I didn't pursue through paypal. ..obviously  I'll never order from him again...

Re: UltraHIVE

Here's the only other option I know of (besides finding NOS decals)... http://www.frogbmx.com/

I have never ordered decals from him but everything I read says his product and service is top notch.

Re: UltraHIVE

All that "good service", free decals.etc.  What good is it if the guy cant ship an envelope with decals in timely fashion or maintain a website with accurate inventory?       crap shoot..

This was my fault, sorry dude. Sometimes Paypal doesnt send the confirmation email which tells me I have an order. Thats what happened here. But its still my fault and I sent the decals plus extra once I learned about it. I suggest to those that order, not to wait 6 months before sending a message, and if that doesnt work then open a Paypal dispute. That will get my attention quick. That doesnt mean do it in 6 days or 2 weeks. I know life sucks for alot of you, sucks for me too. Try not to take it out on the guy thats keeping you from losing you sh_t, ya know what I mean? Buy a punching bag, it helps...
