Re: Hey! Whats your Number(plate)?

I just had these made up they`re exact reproductions of my original ABA issued plates from 79/80. 1149 was my very first number. CAL-4 is a northern california district and was huge when I raced. 531 was the second number I was issued. I just need to find and add the accessory sticker I ran and they`ll be ready to install. big_smile

Re: Hey! Whats your Number(plate)?

Yeah I know, that's a huge district, I was just teasing. Did you race just the one season?

Where did you get the white plates? NOS Old stuff or did you have them made?

I have my last plate still. What font did you use for the  CAL-4 lettering? I cut out my district sticker to use on my real plate and left the ABA logos and number.

Re: Hey! Whats your Number(plate)?

This is my original plate from 1984ish. My mother was recently cleaning the garage out and found it behind the work bench. The numbers, which were electrical tape had mostly peeled up along with a few decals that were on it. I stripped them off and scrubbed it. now I'm on the hunt for some Haro numbers so I can put it back to work. Maybe there's still some mojo left in it.

Re: Hey! Whats your Number(plate)?

Here's the one vintage plate that's still with me and probably the best one that I had.

http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff304/meanbuicks/BMX/pro-line3.jpg

http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff304/meanbuicks/BMX/pro-line4.jpg

When I built my 24" tribute to my old Pro-Line earlier this year, I scratch built the plate from a trash can and colored vinyl.
