1979 Laguna Cruiser 26

It still has the original paint!!!! All the way from Colorado via Alaska...

Found this on eBay. Bought from a guy named Bill who got this from his wife as a birthday present while he lived in Alsaska. It was ridden very easy and was stored inside. At some point he moved to Colorado... I believe he said this gem sat for 30 years. He also said he has a Cook's Cruiser frame.

It has both front and rear drum brakes and a 3 speed Sturmey Archer hub. The stem is Suntour... Near mint. The cranks are Takagi and the rims are Araya... Near mint as well. I put on VDC ? Cruiser bars because it had V bars.. Maybe Redline. I also put a new Brooks saddle on.
Now I have two Laguna's... The best bikes to cruise the hood on ever!

Re: 1979 Laguna Cruiser 26

I have one very similar to this that I bought yesterday, only not in as prestige shape. Except mine says "bmx team laguna" on the name badge. I was curious how much you payed for yours so I have some comparison.
