1998 Dyno Compe
1998 Dyno Compe
I received the bike from a co-worker for $20. It was originally his brothers. Was on top of a junk pile just rusting away. Kept all original parts.
It was built (my first actual build) on a bottom feeding budget. All decals are original as are the wheels, seat clamp, spokes, hubs, gyro, stem and calipers. It had Scott Mathauser pads on it when I bought it. I removed all the rust from the frame and hardware, polished each spoke and even polished the hubs without taking the wheels apart. I replaced everything with era correct parts except the crank.
Thanks go out to Todd & Adam @ R & M Cyclery for some help with this as well!GT Seat
OG Wheels & Spokes
OG Seat Clamp & Stem

NOS Odyssey drainpipe seat post (sticker removed and D sticker applied)

NOS GT Pegs
Redline Crank
Odyssey Dynatron Bottom Bracket
Cheapy Sunline Pedals (polished)
Tech77 Levers
Odyssey Gyro Cables
KMC Chain
No Name front cable (color matches perfect)

Nice save Zman! Thanks for all the extra pics, especially the before and after ones. I like the red wall tires. I want a chrome bike
